Livelihood Programme

Nearly 70% of India's unemployed individuals come from marginalized and disadvantaged communities. Jan Sahas focuses on the comprehensive social-economic empowerment of women and men from the most excluded communities, including migrants, survivors of violence and forced labor, and single and widowed women. We believe that providing employable and dignified opportunities will be crucial for rehabilitating and advancing these communities. To build the financial resilience of these communities, Jan Sahas has initiated 'Dignity and Design' as a part of our efforts, through which we have provided skills and meaningful employment to over 47,800 women and men via tailoring units, driver training centers, dignity stores, digital literacy programs, and entrepreneurship development.
